Hi there - I have uploaded some Encumbered estates for Carrickbeg and Dungarven to the IGP Waterford website. Encumbered estates where sales of estates that were burdened with debt as a result of the famine. These sales took place in the 1850's. The estates here belonged to James William WAL and Thomas Ponsonby CAREW, Esq. So, these do not cover the whole location, just the portion belonging to the particular landowner. As part of the sale, the owners provided information on who the tenants were.
