Hi All, My earliest Waterford ancestor was Ellen GREEN who came out to Australia on the 'Maria', in 1850. She was a Famine Orphan. her mother was Margaret GREENWOOD and she may have been born in Tipperary. She was born about 1834. on the ship's list of passengers it says she came from Abbey, Waterford. She was sent to Bathurst, NSW and must have met her husband there, Henry OSBORNE, and they married in 1853. I haven't found out anything more about her in Ireland.
