Hi Everyone, WILLIAM HARRIS of ARDMORE was reputed to be a native of BUREE, Co. LIMERICK. He fought in the Boer War and then settled in Ardmore where he purchased the Hotel. All I know of him came from the Dungarvan Museum web site. My mother was the grand daughter of RICHARD HARRIS ogf Bruree. His is the only Harris family in Bruree according to the 1901 Census.
