I am researching the following families, all from the Dungarvan area, POWER, FOLEY, CURRAN, MCGRATH, AND KIELY (KILEY). My great-great-grandparents, William Power and Alice Foley, were married at Ring-Old Parish in Dungarvan, their eldest three children are baptized there also. William, Alice and their children came to New York in 1879 and settled on Long Island. Their oldest daughter, Margaret, married Robert Kiley. I believe that the Kiely/Kiley family also came from Ireland since some of the god-parents of the Power children were Kiely's. Some of the village names on birth records are Moonbrack and Carrigeen.
