My interests are in all QUILTY families from Waterford. My Francis QUILTY was born c1800 Waterford City but I have absolutely no information on his background before 1817 when he was convicted in Kilkenny and sent to Australia. It is possible that he was an orphan or that other members of his family migrated to USA or Canada. It seems that I am only likely to trip over something from another family. The names that seem to keep cropping up are Francis & Thomas. Anne Maye. Find local movie times and trailers on Yahoo! Movies. http://au.movies.yahoo.com
Looking for the marriage of an English coastguard, John Fryatt, to an Irish girl, Elizabeth (surname unknown) around 1820-25 in the Waterford area. They had three children - John William (1825), Elizabeth (1828) and Mary Ann (1830) before returning to England. According to the coastguard nomination books, he was posted to Ballymacaw station in August 1823, residence stated to be Cockleshell Hard. Any help to find the marriage and/or Elizabeth's surname would be much appreciated. Ian Philpot Fryatt One-Name Study
