Still searching for info on GILL family of St. Olave's Church in Waterford. Father Henry, mother Elizabeth. William b. 1829, Jane, b. 1831, Elizabeth, b. 1833, Hannah, b. 1835. Older sister (or half-sister?) Ann, b. abt 1817. Ann married Bartholemew Burland and moved to Quebec City, Canada. After her death, Hannah married her widower. Eventually moved to Manitoba, Canada. Searching for any information on any of them. Also looking for information on John BURLAND, son of John BURLAND,, below: In the Civil registration of Ireland, I came across the following: "12 March 1847 at Waterford in the Church of St. Patrick in the diocese of Waterford, John Burland, full age 24, bachelor, Writing Clerk, residing in St. John's Parish, John's Hill, son of John Burland, farmer, wed Johanna MacKey, full age 21, residing the same, dressmaker, daughter of John MacKey, farmer, by license, by Thomas Kerns. Witnesses were James Murphy and Anestatia MacKey." Does anyone have any info on this family or any idea where I can get info? There weren't many Burlands in Ireland, and I am interested in how this John is related to my family. Bill Burland
