Thought I would repost my waterford interests. My ancestor, Bridget Millea (aka Celia) was born in Waterford Ireland 1872 to James and Ellen (maiden name Walsh). I know she had at least one sister, Mary Ellen born 1870 also in Waterford. Anyone with any connections?

My wife's great grandmother was born c1824 and came to the States c1850. I have reason to believe that she came from the parish of Tallow. Does anyone have access to the parish register for Tallow? They can be adopted separately, but they have so much in common, with common sources of records and repositories, that one County Coordinator should administer both sites. The volunteer should live in the county, in Ireland or the UK, or at least had ancestors who lived in the county. That will give you a genealogical interest in the websites. Can anyone tell me how to find out what is involved in becoming a publican - in 1900? If it requires a license, do you pay for it and what does it permit you to do? Just a note on the topic of Trinity College. A couple of people I did lookups for in Alumni Dublineses did not find their person or the book did not cover past the late 1800's when they had someone there. I was just told by a correspondent that she found a couple more titles: "One is known as List of Pupils who entered TCD 1706-1901. That consists of one fiche only. The number is 6035485. The other is known as Register of Alumni of TCD up to 1968. That one consists of 7 fiche. The number is 6035486." I have not double checked these but it sounds like they are lists and may not have further info in them. Nonetheless, if anyone is seeking proof of someone having gone to TCD and we did not find it these fiche might help. I wanted to pass this info on to anyone it might help.
