My grandfather, William George Brown was born in County Armaugh on 1/5/1854. His father was John Brown His mother as Agnes Polley The information I have is that they were farmers. William George married AnnJane Mawhinney in Lanark Scotland in 1879 Their first daughter, Christine, was born in Scotland in 1880 They emigrated to U.S. shortly after as their next child was born in U.S. (PA) in 1882. I would very much appreciate hearing from anyone who has information on or interest in this family. Also, with the information I have, what should my next move be regarding research?
