His father was named John Smith and was also a Colonel. John was born in the province of Ulster, Ireland in 1701 and died about 1776. His wife was named Margaret Harrington and was born about 1700 also in the province of Ulster. That's all that I can find at the moment, but I am looking for more. I would appreciate any help.
