Hi everyone I find it interesting reading your queries, so I thought I would send in my query. My Grandfather James Patrick McDonnell was born in Ireland. We were told that he was born in Moy, Co Tyrone around 1892. His father ROBERT MCDONNELL came to England(Liverpool/Bootle) with his children, his wife having died in childbirth or soon after giving birth to James Patrick. James Patrick's birth was never registered, so no birth certificate and no Mother's name. James Patrick was around 6 years old when he was brought to England. This seems to be a problem that we have tried to solve for many years. It would be wonderful if someone had any information for us, or if anyone lives in that area & could help.
