He was married a few times, once at least to Annie Allen Dunlop (b. 1899, Pollockshaws, Glasgow, SCO, d/o George Dunlop/Annie Allen) in Sarnia, ONT. William John Scotts father was also William John Scott (b. appx. 1857-1877, No IRE), who was married to Margaret Jane Crowe, and I believe was also married to Elizabeth McVea. Both William's moved to Ontario (Toronto area I believe) and William John 1897 eventually moved to Sarnia. If this is true, than William John Scott's (1856-1876) father was Alexander Scott who married Elizabeth Duncan.
