I remember meeting a Bob MeGeeghan who my husband referred to as his distant cousin. They lived in Midland, PA, USA. My husband's family was also from that county, Beaver Co, in PA. They came from the Braddock area of Pittsburgh tho in PA. My husband is Donald R. Powers Jr., his father Donald R. Powers Sr., his mother is Elizabeth Link Retzer Powers,: his grandfather was William Powers, and grandmother Mary O'Rielly, or Riley,(not sure there). He had 2 uncles William, Thomas, and 1 aunt Kathryn, who were siblings of Don Sr. We can find no trace back of these know facts at this time. We do know his grandparents mentioned above were alcoholics and his Father and his uncles and aunt were placed in foster homes. Don Sr. was the youngest and his aunt, who was a MCGeeghan took him and raised him, mostly. We have been stumped from there back. Hopefully this could tie into some of your information! .
