My gx3 grandfather was the Samuel Fluke who is listed in the Griffith's valuations for the Derryhoosh townland in County Monaghan. There were a number of Flukes who lived in the area in the period 1820-1890 but I have not found any further trace since then (possibly because I've only recently been researching this side of my family). I have no trace of an Elizabeth Fluke around the 1890s/1900s. Were you able to trace the Flukes in your tree to those of Derryhoosh?
