There are nearly 1500 towns/townlands in the county in 45 civil parishes. The availability of church registers and how the church registers might be accessed for all the towns/townlands depends on the religious denomination and the townland of birth. Some have been lost, some are microfilmed in the Public Record Office of Northern Ireland and others are only in local custody or in other archives. So you really need to find Benjamin's place of birth in Derry in his and his children's records in the US.
