Hello Listers I am looking for information, actual records taken during the Ulster Plantations. My family took part in at least one, Co DOWN 1605-1630 and on. How they entered, where they lived, how they migrated around, whom was born in Ireland during their stay,etc.This was all run by the Crown, so I have no idea where to start looking. Where could I find these records, being all the way in S Cali? I understand that in the beginning it was actually the Scots whom proposed the idea, for a way to make money for everyone, altho they were forced to start the Denization Process, which would still make them british subjects. I dont know where to look for that information, if there is a way clear over here in S. Cali. Does any one have this info??
