After you have check Griffiths, you must also check the land record indexs for the land records of ireland. the Land Memeorials. you have to know the townland for you folks. That usually has to be found this side of the big Pond. I found mine on a tomb stone of the fellow who came from Ireland. But allowing that you dont look for it , Griffths is the way to go. Mine went from 1793 from when they came to Argyle , NY to County Cavan, Ireland. fred
