    3. Hi Eirann, Many Presbyterian Churches did not have burial grounds attached or nearby, so burial records tend to be sparse. Baptisms & marriages should be available, but it depends on what was recorded by the minister & what survived. Church of Ireland registers should have all 3, but the burial information is usually limited. Again how far back these records go depends on what has survived. If you have access to a LDS Family History Centre, they can order microfilms for you (the m'films held in PRONI are mostly copies of LDS films). Although not in the area you are researching, Derryloran CoI (Cookstown, Co. Tyrone) records are available online at http://www.derryloran.com - click on Parish Registers (records are in PDF format & may take a little time to load). These will give you an idea of what CoI records are like. For the history buffs out there, some of the early records involve English & Scottish regiments stationed in the Cookstown area in the late 1700s/early 1800s e.g. the Tay Fencibles. Hope this is useful, Eddie Ulster3 <ulster3@gmail.com> wrote: Hello listers, I am trying to locate more information on two of my Antrim Co. families. I need to acquire marriage, baptismal and burial records from Ballysillan (Presbyterian) in Belfast and Lisburn Christchurch (COI). I contacted these churches and was told that all records are currently held by PRONI. I searched the PRONI website and located the churches and the reference numbers for each....my only problem is that since I live in the United States and I am unable to go and view the records personally. Honestly, I have no idea what format these records are in and what if anything I would find in them. Does anyone know how I might get the information I am looking for?
