Probably grew up in CO CAVAN. He married MARY WELCH/WELSH/WALSH b. 1829 CO KERRY in 1847. Immigrated to the USA, upstate New York in 1849--51.Roman Catholic. Purchased a small farm where he raised a large family. Son THOMAS DILLON b. MONGAUP VALLEY, NY in 1852 , farmed in MONTICELLO, NY. His son, alos THOMAS, was my grandfather.
