Good luck in your research Mike - I can't really help as I can't get my Kennedy's any earlier than the mid-1800s in Indiana. I do have County Down ancestry though - through my McNabbs, who at one time leased land from a Savage (Andrew I believe). Sometimes the world does seems so small.
