They were Frederick Samuel (Sam) Marshall (about 1870-1919) and Margaret Cavan (about 1875-1925). Those dates are not at all accurate! My father was Patrick James Marshall born either 1911 or 1913, depending on whether we believe him or the official record. Frederick worked downtown as a buyer for a department store. They were living on Florenceville off the Ormeau Rd, at the time of my father's birth. Can someone confirm the existance of these people?
