Is anyone else researching these two surnames? I'm leaning toward Tyrone but it is not a sure thing. Stewart Mason b.c. 1795 m. Ann Barkley then emigrated to Ont. Can. His brother Samuel m. Jane and stayed in Ire. Sam had two sons Stewart b. c. 1829 and Samuel b.c. 1836 both of whom emigrated to Ont. also --all Simcoe Co. Stewart m. Margaret Rawn and Sam m. Mary Middleton. Sam and Mary had Alexander, John and Homer Mason. Stewart and Ann had Matilda, Mary, Stewart and John Mason.
