Hello Folks, I am new to the list. I am researching Michael Gallen. Lewis Laird moved to America 1826. He came with his family including his son-in-law, Michael Gallen. I found a Lewis Laird in the Tithe Applottments in the townland of Cardreen. I found a Michael Gallen listed in the townland of "Laught". My question is, "Can anyone help me determine if these Lairds and Gallens in the Tithe Applottments be the same as those who traveled to America in 1826?" I have other questions regarding the Gallen family, but I'll only ask this one for now. Thank you for any help or advice. Kevin
