The information I got re Claude was from Proni via Google. The record stated that some Hamiltons were catholic ie Claude some protestant. According to the record Claude had his lands and title consficated because he published an attack on the Presbyterian Church!!! The other piece of information is re a family property which was named "Cloudlands" which was supposed to be in the Tyrone/Fermanagh area. I have not been able to find any reference to this house only "Baronscourt" which is the current residence of the Duke of Abercorn. The other piece of information I do know was that in the mid 1800's Patrick Doherty who was a descendant of the family and my Great Grandfather was managing the estate.
