You are correct Georges birth is in 1869 and this was found for me also, because I had the dates 1873 and couldn't find confirmation I assumed it wasn't listed. ( What I am learning is to keep an open mind ) it was exactly 6 days ago that I found the siblings for George so what a coincidence. Because I couldnt find the marraige for George and Mary ( Mc elhiney ) on the IGI and wasn't aware at the time I could search by parent I didn't look any further until I read the instructions properly and of course was a bit stumped with the name variants for mc Elheney. Do not be disheartened though because I really appreciate your efforts and time given to search for me. Again I've had an incorrect date for the marriage Montgomery/McElheney. Thankyou for the correct information and Griffiths Valuation record, you seem to be on the right track with all that you have provided and I will heed ! your advice and find confirmation. Thankyou for sharing your wisdom with me, I had no idea how to find out what parishes the records related to and you've clarified the LDS source records for me which I will order through our local FHS. I'm pleased to be able to see where the parish districts are located and appreciate your advice regarding where to apply for birth and marraige records according to the parish.I feel quite inspired and beleive I can now make further progress with all records and knowledge that you have provided for me.
