Author: jmcorry_1 Surnames: DeCoursey Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.britisles.ireland.ulster/2974/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Hi, I am looking for information from quite a wile back. I am descended from Thomas De Coursey of Ireland (b. ABT 1770 in Ireland and d. Circa 1830 in Ontario, Canada). He and four children: Thomas jr., John, Ann and Richard immigrated to Canada in the 1830's from Ireland. I beleive they lived in the Ulster region, or Tiperary, or Limerick area. The name of Thomas' wife is not known at this point-- It is beleived that she died in Ireland prior to the families immigration. He immigrated with other children than those listed above, but there names have been lost. I have the family traced very well in Canada, but am hoping to find info prior to the immigration-- in other words, in Ireland. Anyone who can help? I would greatly appreciate it. 3. Do a search of the Tithe Records and the Land Records to see where in NI the De Courseys were living in the 1800s may give you some clues.... A google search will bring up land records for NI Janet of oz ----- Original Message ----- From: "Betty Lynne Bernhardt" <blb63@comcast.net> To: <gc-gateway@rootsweb.com>; <irl-ulster@rootsweb.com> Sent: Thursday, July 12, 2007 5:14 PM Subject: Re: [IRL-ULSTER] De Coursey > Me too! > > Bill > > -----Original Message----- > From: irl-ulster-bounces@rootsweb.com > [mailto:irl-ulster-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of > gc-gateway@rootsweb.com > Sent: Thursday, July 12, 2007 12:03 PM > To: IRL-ULSTER-L@rootsweb.com > Subject: [IRL-ULSTER] De Coursey > > This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. > > Author: jmcorry_1 > Surnames: DeCoursey > Classification: queries > > Message Board URL: > > http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.britisles.ireland.ulster/2974/mb.ashx > > Message Board Post: > > Hi, > > I am looking for information from quite a wile back.
