I am searching for information on John Boyd b. unknown in Ulster d. between 1845-1853. He married Sarah Lytle before 1828 in Ulster. They had 5 known children, all born in County Tyrone: John Boyd b. 1828, Matilda Boyd b. 1835, Ann Jane Boyd b. 1840, Sarah C. Boyd b. 1844 and Charles Boyd b. 1846. We know that Sarah Lytle Boyd brought her family to Pike County, Illinois around 1853, sometime after her husband's death. We would like to know when and where John and Sarah Lytle were born and married, where John died and is buried. Were there other children who stayed or possibly died? Who are John and Sarah Lytle Boyd's parents/siblings? Matilda Boyd married Robert Guynn (Gwynne), Robert's mother was Jane Lytle Gwynne-was she related to Sarah Lytle Boyd? Sarah and all of her children died and are buried in Illinois. My husband's grandmother, Mildred Elnora Boyd Johnson who is the granddaughter of Charles Boyd, is 97 and wishing to know more about the history of the Boyd's. Any help would be appreciated.
