Are you certain this was the area ? Hare and O'Hare are names more associated with Co. Armagh than Antrim. Do you have any documents which suggest or name Carrickfergus ? Perhaps you should get Bartholomew's Ulster map and get parish lists from other nearby towns from the LDS library. I think you will need to narrow things down a it more.
