My Robert and his father were born in Northern Ireland. It's not known if the father had any brothers at this present time. I would like to think that there could be a connection. 3. Joan, this is probably a wild shot in the dark for I know there are a few Nugents in this world but..... There was a Nugent family on the third floor of our six-flat on the Southside of Chicago. They would have been there sometime during the WWII years (1940-1945). At the time, they had a son who was a young teen then, named Mark. Plus, I believe a younger girl. Our address was 8022 Honore St. Hope this is of some help. I was so young then that I have no idea of the parent (s) name (s). 1. [ULSTER] Webpages need coordinators
    2. Don Kelly
    3. Greetings everyone. The list administrator has kindly allowed me to make this announcement. The Ireland Genealogy Projects has several county webpages that need dedicated County Coordinators. Visit the main IGP homepage at http://irelandgenealogyprojects.rootsweb.com/ The available county pages are: County Dublin, http://www.rootsweb.com/~irldubli/ This is my baby, but I have too many other websites. County Fermanagh http://www.rootsweb.com/~nirfer2/ This is a beautifully and fully developed website. Very special. County Meath http://www.rootsweb.com/~irlmea2/ This is a starter page, but we have material to develop. County Tyrone http://www.rootsweb.com/~nirtyr3/ This is my baby, but I have too many other websites. County Wicklow http://www.rootsweb.com/~irllog2/ This is a good start, but needs more TLC. County Carlow http://www.rootsweb.com/~irlcar2/ A jewel, but too much to handle. Some of these county pages also have mailing lists and query boards. As a matter of policy we like to have experienced coordinators who live in Ireland. We like egg in our beer too<grin> But certainly next best, and most of us fit this category, we live in the United States, but have Irish ancestors. In looking for those ancestors we belong to many mailing lists, and in time we learn where to look in Ireland for records. Most important, we love what we do, and often volunteer to do more than we can easily handle. SO, anyone on this list with ancestors from one or more of these counties, know how to use ftp or front page, and love to build beautiful websites, collecting, compiling and building unique databases. Eventually, next year, we want to build a search engine that will search all of the databases as if they were one database. If you are interested in managing one of the webpages, and want to work with the finest team in Ireland, and help build the best genealogy project in Ireland, please contact me and I'll get you started with a buddy tutor or welcome hostess. Thanks all for reading this announcement.....and a big thanks to our mailing list admin.. Donald O'Collaugh Kelly, National Coordinator, Ireland genealogy Projects.

    1. [ULSTER] Boyd-Lytle
    2. I am searching for information on John Boyd b. unknown in Ulster d. between 1845-1853. He married Sarah Lytle before 1828 in Ulster. They had 5 known children, all born in County Tyrone: John Boyd b. 1828, Matilda Boyd b. 1835, Ann Jane Boyd b. 1840, Sarah C. Boyd b. 1844 and Charles Boyd b. 1846. We know that Sarah Lytle Boyd brought her family to Pike County, Illinois around 1853, sometime after her husband's death. We would like to know when and where John and Sarah Lytle were born and married, where John died and is buried. Were there other children who stayed or possibly died? Who are John and Sarah Lytle Boyd's parents/siblings? Matilda Boyd married Robert Guynn (Gwynne), Robert's mother was Jane Lytle Gwynne-was she related to Sarah Lytle Boyd? Sarah and all of her children died and are buried in Illinois. My husband's grandmother, Mildred Elnora Boyd Johnson who is the granddaughter of Charles Boyd, is 97 and wishing to know more about the history of the Boyd's. Any help would be appreciated.
