    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/DYC.2ACE/635 Message Board Post: My grgrgr-grandfather, Hood Haslett came to the U.S. in 1830, born in Ireland 1780, active in United Irishmen, lashed almost to point of death. Are there any existing, available books that tell of his role in that period of history? His father was a blacksmith, William Henry Haslett. I greatly desire some written words of this. He died in Morgan County, Alabama, USA after the 1850 census. His loyalty oath cites Ulster & Antrim, but I'm not sure of exact place of birth. HELP!

Surnames: Boody Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/DYC.2ACE/628.1.1.1 Message Board Post: Hello Robert, I wish I knew names, dates and places. I am going by memory and what little I know about the Boody family. Which is next to nothing. I have a name Fenn and I don't know who he is or where he fits in. No real date, probably late 1700's. All I know is they were Presbyterians, Mason's and belonged to the Orangemen's Lodge. They came to America sometime in the 1800's and went to Mass., and my relative, whomever that was married Delaware or Mochigan tribe. I have found a Lesta Boody who was maybe a Delaware Indian born in 1830 in Ohio or Pa. Thats as far as I can get. Who the parents were or anything else, I have no clue. I am lost. We may have really been from Mar's or some dumb place like that. Everything I have tried leads to dead ends and just noplace. Thank you anyway, for your response and everything else. Just thought, I'd try.
