For the counties of Ulster that are part of Northern Ireland, that is Antrim, Armagh, [London]Derry, Down, Fermanagh and Tyrone it's British Tel. Here's the search link. Enter the surname and addy: http://www.thephonebook.bt.com/publisha.content/en/find/residential/residential_numbers.publisha?namespace=coexistence For the counties of Ulster that are part of Ireland, that is, Cavan,Donegal and Monaghan, it's Eircom. You can just enter the surname and county -- you don't need the town. Here's the search link: http://159.134.203.172/search.asp?source=GP Not everyone is listed in the online directory and many people today don't even have land lines any more. Everyone has mobile phones. Enjoy! Eilís O'Hara

You'd need to order the microfilm reels through a LDS Family History Centre to look at the census details from the microfilms in Leckpatrick and Strabane for your family. You'd view the microfilms on the microfilm readers at the Centres. You order the film(s) at the Centre and then have to wait until the Centre receives them before you can look at them. They have to be used at the Centre. Most of the microfilm readers have a copy function so you can print your family's information from the microfilm reel. Yes, LDS are the Latter Day Saints Family History Centres and their locations are on their website which follows. In the centre of the homepage you can enter the location where you live and then get a list of the locations of the LDS Family History Centres: http://www.familysearch.org/ Regards. Eilís O'Hara

These centres I assume that you mention are Latter Day Saints centres? If so then I cannot seem to find anything for purchase that would help me along. regards Daniel.Diver

Both census records are available on microfilm on order through a LDS Family History Centre. It depends often on the enumerator whether it will show the employer or just the occupation. But at least it will give you more family detail. Regards. Eilís O'Hara
