Thomas HARMON was born around 1834 in Co. Kilkenny & shows up in Ohio in 1860 married to Ellen QUINLISK who emigrated from Co. Tipperary in 1851. He was a farmer in Warren and Butler Counties in Ohio (and Howard County in Missouri in 1870) and together they raised five sons. They were related to the MELAMPYs in Ohio, who also emigrated from Co.
