You can order the cert from www.groireland.ie by downloading a form and posting it - it takes about 6 weeks I think. Ask for a photocopy of the entry as it costs less and gives the same information. When did the family emigrate? On the civil registration index there are births showing for Larkin children registered in Thurles district between 1880 and 1888 but there is no way of knowing if these are the children of Michael and Mary Jane without getting the certs. Alternatively you could search www.rootsireland.ie - a pay site and I just did a quick search and did not seem find any children but this is not conclusive. Is there any place, Dear Friends, I may look which would possibly chronicle his passing and the place of his internment? Or would it, in all likelihood, have been quietly in a potter's field unnoticed by anyone but family? For several generations, despite hundreds of descendants, no one apparently spoke, or left a written record, of his final resting place. Thanks much. In this time frame you need Church Records. I don't see Eliza in the RootsIreland index which covers some locations in Tipperary. That may leave you with the Tipperary Family History Research centre. There records cover the Diocese of Cashel and Emly which covers a large area of Tipperary. http://www.tfhr.org/ The last I looked they are not cheap but are about the only game in town if you have this Diocese. I hope they can help you with this family.
