Thank you to everyone who responded and/or who looked up Patrick Lonergan. I'm not sure that any of those Patrick Lonergan's are the correct one. Patrick also went by P.F. according to the Tasmanian newspapers at the time. Patrick was born in 1861. I believe that his first wife was Alice Dempsey and that two of their children may have been born in Ireland sometime after 1884. He died in April of 1937. Thanks, Mary
