Cathy Have you got the marriage cert? - This will show fathers names of both bride and groom and their residence at time of marriage-if not this seems to be the correct reference Marriage Michael J Larkin Jan- Mar 1879 Thurles Registration District Vol 3 page 612 with a match for Jane M Kennedy. You can order the cert from www.groireland.ie by downloading a form and posting it - it takes about 6 weeks I think. Ask for a photocopy of the entry as it costs less and gives the same information. When did the family emigrate? On the civil registration index there are births showing for Larkin children registered in Thurles district between 1880 and 1888 but there is no way of knowing if these are the children of Michael and Mary Jane without getting the certs. Alternatively you could search www.rootsireland.ie - a pay site and I just did a quick search and did not seem find any children but this is not conclusive.
