Hi! I am looking for information on the Quirk family who may have resided in County Tipperary. Patrick was born in Ireland in 1834 and was married to Mariah Kane. I remember my mother saying we were related to the Quirk family. My mother's maiden name was Kane. Her ancestors immigrated from County Kerry in the 1850s. An excellent database for County Kerry is www.irishgenealogy.ie . On a search I found many by the name of Quirk. Patrick Quirk born June 22, 1834, in Gurrane, County Kerry, Parish of Killeentierna; and Patrick Quirk born April 6, 1834, in Killarney, Parish of Killarney. No result for marriage of Patrick Quirk and Mariah Kane.
