Most scams are pretty obvious and I don't like to clutter the lists up with scams and virus warnings. However a list member has received one of those Mr Rich Smith has died blah blah Get in touch with us blah blah. The odd part was it was a name she is researching, the message gave her last name and state. So, presumably a little research has gone into this. It is the kind of info someone could find online on message boards or in list archives. Just wanted you to be aware that it is a scam even if you know the name. No one representing a rich man, would contact anyone via email. :) No need to discuss this on list. I just wanted you to be aware this is "going around" and to delete anything like that.
