Hello, Mary Ellen: I don't know about the bus to Derry from towns in the 26 Counties, but the bus from Belfast to Derry is fine -- more dependable than the train. Don't know why you "boycott the North," Janet. I've just returned from there--it's a remarkable, beautiful, and awe-inspiring part of Ireland, and so are its people (except for the few--and what place doesn't have its "few"?). Well, some of my people come from there--so maybe I have an edge on seeing it so.
