Hi List Have not posted my brick wall for several months , time to try again. Looking for the mother of my grandfather John Joseph Switzer born (according to family )Aprl 1878 Tipperary. Have not been able to find his Birth record. Married 18 Oct 1902 St Micheals R.C. Church Limerick.I have the marriage record which states he was 27 years old, his occupation was soldier and his father was Nathanial Switzer a farmer.He married Mary Jane Duitt, age 24 father,s name Peter Duitt occupation sailor. I have been able to obtain some info from the Army records, John served with the 18th Royal Irish Regiment he was a veteran of many campaigns Including South African War, the India war, and WW1. Non of the Army records give hie Mother,s name. Any suggestions. Chuck in fridgid Ontario Can.
