Hello list, I am putting together a short synopsis concerning my GGG Grandfather and his life in Ireland and the US... I am looking for descriptions of life during the famine - and then what a voyage to the US would have been like in 1849. ie. conditions/ how long did it take. I am putting this information together for my family so that they can have a better understanding of what our GGG Grandfather and Grandmother went through to get here and possibly spark someone's interest in our family history. Furthermore, any links to websites that may further expand upon their experiences would be greatly appreciated.
