Looking for info on my ggggrandfather John Coonan 1812-1862 who was from Tipperary. He would have come to Canada (Montreal) sometime before 1842 when his oldest son was born. In 1849, he emigrated to the US (Champlain in northern New York State). He may have emigrated from Ireland with Jeremiah Coonan. Tom Coonan
