Richard English B. 1810, Tipperary Town married Anne Carew,B.9/4/1822 Solohead parish Tipperary. They married in Solohead Parish church on 4/21/1841. They and most of Anne's family including her mother, left for St. John's Newfoundland sometime between 1841 and 1845. He was a stone mason who worked building the Basilica in St. John's. June 4, 1854 St John's , Married Mary Ellen Toler B.3/23/1862, Anna Illinois. Marriage was on July 1 1880 in Cairo, Illinois. They had 10 children. 8 survived childhood. Hi Tom, Richard seems to run in the Tipp Town English family. I have a Richard English who married Mary Quillinan in 1837, probably related somehow; they had a son in Tipp parish in 1850. I do have a record of a Uilesius English who married Bridget Quillinan in Tipp parish in 1785. I can't figure out what Uilesius stands for and maybe somebody does.
