Hello, I live in Central Queensland, Australia. I am new to the list and I am searching for my grandmothers family who came from Tipperary, Ireland. Her mother Ann Bridget BRYAN (b.c1857 d.1939) emigrated to Queensland, Australia, c1873 apparently with a family by the name of KELLY. Her father was Patrick BRYAN and her mother Mary NAIL (maybe NEIL or a variation) b.c1829 d.1897. Her mother subsequently joined her in Clermont, Q in 1883. They are both buried in the Clermont, Q Cemetery. Mary's parents were William NAIL and Bridget DUNNE. On her Death Certificate it is stated that she was also known as O'BRIEN. Ann married an Austrian - Paul(o) DAMIANOVICH at Copperfield near Clermont in 1879. He died in 1912 and she married Hugh McNALLY in 1919. Mary's birthplace is given as Kilnawl(e), Tipperary, Ireland. Ann's birthplace is given as Kilmain, Tipperary, Ireland. I would be interested to hear from anyone searching the same lines. I would also be interested if anyone has any hints or places to search indexes/records/emmigration lists, etc electronically.
