Ellen Hickey was born in Clonmel circa 1867, the twin of Patrick (later Fr Pat) Hickey. She was one of eleven children of Michael Hickey and Bridget Long of Rathogally, Newcastle, Clonmel. Like her brothers Charles and James, she seems to have settled in Kansas City. I found an Ellen Zufelt returning to the US from Liverpool through Ellis Island in 1912, who gave an address at 613 Prospect Avenue, Kansas City. In correspondence home in 1926 she is at the "City Hardware and Paint Co Inc., 2532 Independence Avenue, where her husband C.W. Zufelt is Manager. I would love to learn more of Ellen, particularly if she had children, when and where she died and is buried and any details of her siblings in the USA. any inputs would be gratefully received.
