Hi Michael, I have family connections with Michael STAPLETON who was born July 1848 in Townland of Clogher, Co Tipperary, son of Stephen STAPLETON and Margaret BREEN who were married on 19 July 1857 in Parish Clonoulty, Co Tipperary. Stephen STAPLETON was born May 1822 Townland of Gorteennamona, Co Tipperary, son of Stephen STAPLETON and Mary DWYER. Stephen and Margaret Stapleton arrived in Australia in 1849 to join Margaret's parents, John Breen (convict) and Margaret (nee Reilly/Riley). Any connection?
