The history of the Fogarty family I am interested in Australia starts with the arrival of the good ship "Agincourt" on the 8th of April, 1852. The "Agincourt" arrived in Sydney and listed on the manifest were Andrew and Margaret Fogarty and their family, John, Judith, James, Patrick, Mary, Andrew and Ellen. They paid 11 pounds for their passage. Another daughter, Bridget came to Australia on the "Exodus", arriving in Sydney on 26 July 1855. Andrew was born in Templemore in 1804, supposedly the son of John and Mary Fogarty. No information has been found on this apart from the shipping records. His wife was Margaret Woodlock, born 11 Sep 1808, Loughmore. Daughter of John Woodlock (born 1784) and Johanna Carroll, (born 1788), married 1809.
