    3. Mary, Thank you very much for this - it's new information for me and gives me a new avenue to research. Is Littleton the name of the Townland? May I ask where you found this information? 3. Alison, I got it on the UK/Ireland CD's for civil births from 1864 onwards.I also looked in Kilkenny and there weren't any Lanigans that would fit in. Littleton is a village and townsland about 3 miles from Thurles on the Main Dublin to Cork Road. 1. [TIP] ROLL CALL Ryan & Hally
    2. sjhawley
    3. I know little about this family. Mary Hally married an unknown Ryan probably in Co Tipperary. Mary was baptized on 8 Sept 1819 in Newcastle Parish, County Tipperary. Her parents are Michael Hally b abt 1797 and Catherine English b abt 1799. Mary Hally and her husband immigrated to the US about 1850 and eventually settled in Wisconsin. I know the Ryan's are hard to pin down. Newcastle Parish in County Tipperary is very close to Waterford County and there may be some overlap. Sandra Hawley
