I see that you have the English surname listed with Cahir. I have Catherine English b abt 1799 in Grange Co Tipperary between Cahir and Clonmel. Catherine is my ggg grandmother. Sponsors for some of her children were Ellen English, John English, Margaret English and Mary English. Possibly these sponsors were her siblings. Catherine married Michael Hally before 1816. Their first child was Ellen English baptized on 23 Oct 1816. I know nothing more about Catherine English and her family in Ireland. However, Catherine and Michael had 13 children and I have found baptismal records for 11 of them. The entire family emigrated to the US around 1849-1851 except one child, William Hally who remained in Ireland. The family eventually settled in Wisconsin, USA after living in NY for a time. Does this ring any bells?
