    3. Tom, Thanks for the research tip. I'll try that. Subject to getting some useful information beforehand, we'll be on tour in Ireland May/June this year. Some time ago you mentioned a forthcoming book on protestants in Ireland. I saw a review in the Spectator just before Christmas for "A new anatomy of Ireland: the Irish Protestants, 1649-1770", by Toby Barnard. Was that it? Thanks again Walter P.S. I decided not to modernise the pre-revision years in my records, but perhaps I ought to point that out on the web site. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tom LaPorte" <tlaporte@mts.net> To: <IRL-TIPPERARY-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, January 11, 2006 7:46 PM Subject: Re: [TIP] Clonmel research > Hello Walt > > Haven't talked to you in quite a while. > > I had great success with an inquiry directly to the St. Mary's Clonmel > church office where they have computerized all the parish records and will > generate a report for you of all b/m/d for a particular surname for a fee. > I had the Boles/Bowles report done for 40euros.
