Query with permission: Donal O'Collaugh O'Kelly ==================================== Greetings: I have been trying to find out any information on my Great-great-grandfather. His name was Michael McCormick and the info I have was that he was born on September 29, 1829 in Tipperary. He died on February 20, 1912 in Gore of Lochaber, Ottawa County, Quebec, Canada. He married a Barbara McKenzie who was born on January 28, 1826 in East Helmsdale, Lochaber Parish, Sutherland, Scotland. They married in Quebec, Canada around 1850. I would love to find out who my g.g.grandther's parents were so I may take my family tree even further back. Would you be able to assist me or at least point me in a direction where I could do the research myself? I have tried the IGI on the Latter Day Saints site, but to no avail.
