Hello to all researchers: I have recently discovered that Rev. Patrick OMeally, priest of RC church in Shinrone could very well be family. Rev. Patrick was curate at Shinrone church in 1836 and transfered to Mountshannon church as its priest. He served as priest there from 1836 to 1846 and built the new Whitegate/Mountshannon parish church in 1838. Then he was sent back to Shinrone in 1846 to serve as the priest of the parish. I believe I had seen that N. Tipperary Heritage Center in Nenagh had the Shinrone records. This confuses me since Shinrone is located in Kings Co. Offaly. Does anyone have suggestions as to why this might be? Also, is the N. Tipp. Heritage center still in business? I had commissioned a search in 2005 and I used the web page that was listed on their correspondence and could not access their site. Any suggestions would be appreciate!! Thanks...Debbie
